Reluctant Housewife: Moon Milk
Okay, so when I first heard about Moon Milk I was a little skeptical. I mean, why the heck is it? Do you pour milk into a glass and drink it under the moon? And, what on earth was it supposed to do for me? I totally didn't get it under I drank it.
Woh. It's out of this world-- which is only fitting given the name.
Moon milk is a milk or milk alternative with a sweetener, a fat and a spice added to it. It comes from the Ayurvedic diet that works with your body natural rhythms. The adaptogens within the milk help your body de-stress and relax, plus the milk itself contains melatonin and tryptophan, two natural substances that help you fall asleep.
This soothing, creamy nighttime drink is just the thing to get your ready for bed or help after a stressful day. I'm absolutely obsessed with it now!
