4 ripe pears
1/2 cup of melted butter
1 tbsp cinnamon sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup finely chopped salted almonds
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
*for a smaller recipe this is an easy recipe to eye your ingredients. The episode gives you a smaller version.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Halve your pears. Using a spoon scoop out the seeds and leave some space for your filling. Brush in the inside with melted butter.
In a bowl combine oats, almonds, brown sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Pour remaining butter in and stir until combined.
Spoon mixture into center of pears.
Bake for about 30-40 minutes. I'd check at 30 minutes to see if they're soft. If they are they're ready to go.
You can serve these alone or with vanilla ice cream or whip cream. Goes great with a glass of bourbon too!
