Reluctant Housewife: How- to Make a Candle
Updated: Mar 21, 2019
If you're a candle person like me then you're going to love making your own candles at home! This, while messy, was a easy thing to make and didn't take more than an hour at the most to do. I imagine once you get the hang of it it'll be even faster. Especially when you're not pouring hot wax all over your kitchen counter.
Watch the Reluctant Housewife episode here and get the supplies for this below!
Supplies for Candle Making:
3 ounces parafin wax
wicks from a craft store
Melt your wax in a double boiler until fully melted. Pour into a mason jar and allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Add 20 drops of each essential oil to your candle wax and stir. Allow candle to cool for 24 hours. Done!
