Reluctant Housewife: Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Pecan Pie and Pumpkin pie are always at the dinner table at Thanksgiving. But, what if you took these two delicious pies and married them into one glorious pie? Today this happens.
Eating this pie is a holiday miracle.

Pecan Pumpkin Pie
1 can of pumpkin puree
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pecan halves
1 pie crust
For Pumpkin layer:
Add ingredients for pumpkin layer into one bowl and whisk together until smooth. Pour into pie crust.
For Pecan layer:
Add ingredients for pecan layer into one bowl and blend together. Pour onto of pumpkin layer.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Place your pie in the middle of your oven and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Take out of oven and let cool completely. You're done!
